• These shared links are available on the chat.openai.com website and will soon be available on the iOS app.

• Users can create shared links by hovering over a chat and clicking on the share link option, choosing to share with or without their name.

• Shared links are public, allowing anyone with the link to view and continue the conversation.

• They serve various use cases such as sharing specific conversations or messages, collaborating with external parties, and creating reference points for future discussions.

• Shared links capture a snapshot of the conversation at the time of link generation and do not include future messages.

• Deleting the original conversation or the user's account will also delete the shared links associated with it.

• There is currently no way to prevent other users from continuing the conversation from a shared link.

• Shared links are not indexed by search engines and are not included in data exports.

• Users can manage their shared links, including deleting individual links or all shared links, through the settings area of the ChatGPT website.
