Intro

In this guide, I’ll go over how to generate ideas for running ads on Facebook and Google. Note that these aren’t just plug and play and you’ll need to do some edits/add more content in.

But this DRASTICALLY improves the brainstorming/market research phase of running ads, which can sometimes be the most painful part.

Let’s Go.

Angles/Pain Points

In this example we’ll get some copy angles and general consumer pain points that we can use in our ad with the prompt:

“Generate 10 pain points to hit when selling gym supplements”

Now we’re going to get a deeper explanation on these pain points so we can better understand our customers situation with the prompt:

“Expand on these pain points”

Headlines

Next we’ll get some general product headlines for our ads with the prompt:

“Write a headline for each of these pain points”

Now we can spice up these headlines a little more for facebook with the prompt:

“Add an emoji for each of the headlines”

Body Copy

Now let’s get some general body copy to help sell the click with the prompt:

“Generate a short piece of sales copy for each headline”

Creative Ideas

Now we can get image and video ideas for our creatives with the prompt:

“Come up with a image and video idea for each pain point”

CTA’s

Now let’s cook up some CTA’s with the prompt:

“Generate 10 call to actions for those pain points”

Audiences

Now let’s find some initial audiences with the prompt:

“Generate 10 google/facebook ads keywords to target with these pain points”

Ending Notes

  • In 5 minutes we’ve just came up with 10 different Ads for our product, as I said above these of course need edits, but the base content is absolutely solid.

  • Keep in mind you can do this and prompt 100 of each and ChatGPT will do it for you, it’s still in the early stages but this has HUGE potential for marketing in 2023.
