Doctors Are Using Chatbots in an Unexpected Way [Link]
Despite the drawbacks of turning to artificial intelligence in medicine, some physicians find that ChatGPT improves their ability to communicate empathetically with patients.
OpenAI's AI language model, ChatGPT, has been adopted by doctors for tasks such as writing medical documents and communicating with patients. While some professionals found it helpful in simplifying medical language and improving compassionate communication, others raised concerns about potential misdiagnoses and misinformation. Despite skepticism, many doctors have integrated the AI model into their practice, finding it efficient in handling paperwork and facilitating patient communication. The tool's usage, potential risks, and benefits are subjects of ongoing discussions in the medical community.
Mind2Web: Towards a Generalist Agent for the Web [Link]
Mind2Web is a newly introduced benchmark designed to streamline web tasks by grounding language. Despite the convenience offered by modern browsers, the overwhelming amount of online information and unique site interfaces often complicate user interactions. Mind2Web aims to combat this problem by constructing a universal natural language interface, allowing users to convey their needs naturally and automate the laborious processes. Unlike previous models restricted to select APIs or simplified simulation environments, Mind2Web mirrors the complexity of real web environments and captures user interactions with actual websites. It offers detailed user interaction data, web page snapshots, and network traffic to facilitate model development. Incorporating over 2000 tasks from 142 websites across 32 domains, Mind2Web poses new challenges in language comprehension, planning, and grounding, effectively narrowing the divide between simulations and real life.
